Unfortunately he suffered a season-ending injury on Feb. 20 in a collision at first base. Seiber tore his UCL and broke his elbow in the contest. After successfully receiving a medical redshirt for the 2005 season, Jordan is fully recovered and once again hopes to provide a lively bat for Pacific as a senior. Prior to his injury last season, Jordan hit .321 with nine hits , two doubles, one home run and five RBI in nine games last season. Despite the limited action, Jordan provided a dramatic save for the Tigers in Pacific's 6-5 (11) win over Saint Mary's on Feb. 11. After Pacific tied the game in the ninth, the Tigers entered the bottom of the tenth trailing 5-4. With one out, Seiber delivered a solo home run to extend the game. Jordan was 2-for-5 with two RBI in the contest. On Feb. 19 he had a season-high three hits, going 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in Pacific's 10-9 loss to Hawai'i.<b>2004 (Junior):</b> <p>After working his way into the starting lineup in the third game of the season, Seiber never went back to the bench as he started 52 of his 53 games as a junior. Jordan finished the season with a team-high 41 RBI as he belted five home runs and moved into the Pacific single season record book with 17 doubles (tied for sixth). Seiber had a .259 average and finished second on the team with a .424 slugging percentage. Jordan closed 2004 with one of his best games as he was 3-for-5 with two doubles, five RBI and one run scored in Pacific's 12-10 loss to Hawai'i on May 25th. Seiber connected on his fourth home run of the season in the first inning of Pacific's 4-3 win over UC Santa Barbara on May 14th. He supplied the Tigers' offense with a three-run home run, his third of the season, in Pacific's five-run first inning against Nevada on March 23rd. Jordan finished the game 2-for-5 with two runs scored, but the Tigers fell 12-11 in 11 innings. Jordan picked up his first home run of the year in dramatic fashion, with the Tigers trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Seiber worked a 3-0 count with a man on first and two out. Given the green light, Seiber nailed a line shot over the left field wall, lifting Pacific to a 2-1 win over Saint Mary's on Feb. 29th. Jordan was 2-for-5 with three RBI in the Tigers' 7-0 win at UCLA on Feb 21st.<b>Junior College:</b> <p>Jordan transferred to Pacific from Bellevue CC in Bellevue, Wash. Seiber posted a .333 average in 2003 with the Helmsmen, collecting 16 doubles and 34 RBI. Jordan led his team to a 28-12 record in 2002 and a first place finish in the NorthWest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) North Region. A team captain, Jordan led the Helmsmen to a 31-19 overall record in 2003.<b>High School:</b> <p>Seiber graduated from Tyee High School in Seatac, Wash. in 2001. As a Totem, Jordan was a three-time MVP and in his senior season he led Tyee HS to the Seamount League Championship as the Totems finished with a 20-4 record. Seiber hit an astounding .512 in his final season and was equally impressive on the mound as he posted a 12-0 record in his junior season. Jordan was named the All-Seamount League MVP in 2001 and also earned a spot on Washington's All-State team. Seiber excelled at more than just baseball at Tyee HS as he collected an MVP award with his football and basketball teams. In addition, Jordan amassed three academic letters and the Seamount Academic Excellence Award.<b>Personal:</b> <p>Jordan Seiber is the son of Terry and Nancy Seiber. In his third year with Pacific, Jordan is majoring in sport medicine. Following graduation, Jordan hopes to pursue a career in professional baseball, then become a sports physical therapist.
